Scrap any ideas you have about beating a punching bag by yourself, boxing is very much a social sport. Classes are usually made up of around 10 to 15 people and supervised by a licensed experienced professional. You will concentrate on proper boxing techniques, footwork, body alignment and building stamina.
This class is designed to teach beginners and intermediates the fundamentals of Boxing. You will be put through the same pace as Elite Fighters. This is more than a class...it's a program. Members will learn all the basic techniques and applications geared towards making them a student of the game. This includes but not limited to: Conditioning, Floor work, Bag work, and Partner drills. People with a little more experience may also spar. Sparring is optional but a lot of fun. Boxing is a high intensity, full body workout that will keep you moving throughout the workout. When you're not throwing a punch, you're ducking and weaving or doing squats and abdominal work.
